SABR Convention: Tuesday

The SABR Convention doesn’t start until tomorrow, but late this afternoon about a dozen of us local chapter members stuffed the goodie bags to be given out to attendees.    

While I was there, I took some photos of the convention hotel, the JW Marriott at Pennsylvania and 14th, and some other spots.

Within two or three blocks, there’s some good places to grab a bite to eat.   The hotel has three options. Under the same roof is a food court and a Starbucks. The National Press Club is beside the hotel and a Borders book store is at F and 14^th.     Couple blocks over on E Street is a Barnes and Noble and the ESPN Zone.   

Thursday is the first day of a full slate of events but some things get started tomorrow.     By the way you don’t have to be a member to attend the convention.   You can sign up at the SABR booth.
