Cool temps and light rain greeted runners this morning for
the Third Annual Wilson Bridge Half Marathon. For the first two races, I covered the event from the
finish line at National Harbor.
This time, I decided to check out the action along the GW Parkway. I walked down to a point directly across from
National Harbor, where volunteers from TMA Software and Autism Speaks were
handing out water and providing supportive cheers. Really great group of people, one came down from New
York.
Three elite runners arrived first, a large gap already
created.
Anyway, looked like another great turnout. Steve Nearman can be very proud of this race he created.
