800 am
Second hour slowed down a bit, as expected. MSNBC with Joe Scarborough and Meeka kept me listening from 815 to 820, their talking with Tom Brokaw and General Colin Powell, as well as Jon Meacham, about the challenges for Republicans. Powell has the best line of the morning. Said the far right critisized him during campaign. He told them, "Hey, I've been shot at before!"
Forgot to mention that I also watched a bit of the coverage from Telemundo and Noticias Washington. Heard the word frio, and they weren't talking about beer.
821am
CNN staying with their panel, Ryan Lizzo of the New Yorker is the one face I did not recognize. Bill Burton also newish. They are the warmup for the heavy hitters.
This photo is from CNN. The crowds are already filling up the squares, and you can see the plastic covering we talked about earlier.
