The other day we talked about some of the history behind the corner of King and Washington in Old Town Alexandria. The better half and I were out and about in that area earlier this week, and noticed a sign for Urban Angler. Fans of BGR Burger know this address as 108 N. Washington, next door to Le Pain Quotidien.
Walked upstairs and was greeted by Richard, the
manager. Urban Angler, based
in New York City, moved from Arlington into this spot, once occupied by an Army
recruiter.
Quite the spiffy job in terms of rehabbing the second floor, and a nice selection of fly-fishing gear.
Give a warm Alexandria welcome to these folks, a great catch for Old Town. Happy casting!
